Red Sea International, the developer of the ambitious “Red Sea” and “Amaala” projects, along with Zain Saudi Arabia and the French company Serge Ferrari Group, announced a new technological milestone to provide a pioneering digital experience on “Umahat” Island. This coincides with the commencement of receiving visitors at the St. Regis Red Sea Resort and the near completion of the works at the Nujoom, Ritz-Carlton Reserve Resort on the island. Through this strategic partnership, aiming to maximize joint efforts in sustainability, Red Sea International and Zain Saudi Arabia designed and deployed innovative communication towers to offer visitors of this island an unparalleled digital experience. This combines the speed and efficiency of service with seamless integration with the island’s aesthetic elements, ensuring an exceptional experience on the white shores and enchanting turquoise waters of “Umahat” and its stunning natural landscapes.

These innovative towers are operated through the world’s first carbon-neutral 5G network, recently launched by Red Sea International and Zain Saudi Arabia. Elite minds from both companies collaborated to design and implement these first-of-their-kind towers globally, using innovative materials produced by the French company Serge Ferrari Group. The towers aim to achieve four main objectives: providing advanced 5G speed and services, enhancing the island’s visual landscape, reducing emissions through 100% clean energy use, and preserving biodiversity while enabling the sharing of Zain Saudi Arabia’s 5G towers with all licensed communication operators in Saudi Arabia.
