Dubai hotels continue to record steady growth levels in a range of key indicators such as visitor numbers, room revenue, F&B revenues and more.

Data from the Department of Economy and Tourism in Dubai indicated that the number of hotel nights in Dubai hotels during the first two months of this year reached 7.78 million, while the average return on room reached AED 578.

The significant increase in hotel room revenues in Dubai was supported by an increase in average return on room during January and February, which reached 12% to AED 578 compared to AED 514 during the first two months of last year, in addition to an increase in the number of hotel nights by 7% to 7.78 million nights, compared to 7.28 million nights in the same period last year.

Dubai’s tourism sector continues to achieve qualitative achievements on many routes related to the entry of large numbers of hotel rooms and a steady increase in the number of tourists through the launch of several initiatives and its ability to penetrate new markets supported by the expansion of local airlines and their arrival at new stations.
