The renowned Japanese restaurant, Salvaje, is delighted to announce the opening of its first branch in Dubai, following its tremendous success in major global cities such as Miami, Madrid, Barcelona, and Paris. After much anticipation, Salvaje has opened its doors at Address Residences Dubai Opera in the heart of the city, inviting guests to enjoy a distinctive hospitality experience with stunning panoramic views of the Burj Khalifa.

Salvaje, meaning “wild” in Spanish, is known for its innovative approach to Japanese cuisine. The new Dubai branch combines traditions, design, and quality, characteristics that have earned Salvaje a prestigious reputation worldwide. Salvaje targets connoisseurs of luxurious cuisine and guests seeking an exceptional hospitality experience. The restaurant brings its distinctive dishes and lively atmosphere to the heart of Dubai for both residents and visitors to enjoy.

Salvaje opened its first branch in Panama City, and the new Dubai branch joins 12 other locations worldwide, being the second branch for the brand in the Middle East after the opening of Salvaje Al Khobar in Saudi Arabia in 2022. Since its first restaurant’s opening, Salvaje has become a global phenomenon in the hospitality industry, attracting celebrities and stars from around the world. Salvaje offers restaurant-goers a comprehensive dining experience, captivating guests with enchanting evening entertainment, featuring dancers, saxophonists, and DJs alongside fiery dance performances. It’s no wonder that Salvaje has become a favorite destination for celebrities.

Located at Address Residences Dubai Opera, Salvaje stretches over two floors, providing unparalleled views of the Burj Khalifa. The restaurant features luxurious decor inspired by the tropical rainforest, designed by the renowned Spanish decorator Lázaro Rosa-Violán. Vibrant colors, rainforest-inspired patterns, luxurious materials, and captivating fabrics dominate the decor, consistent with Salvaje’s other locations worldwide.

The upper floor of the restaurant accommodates up to 250 guests, welcoming them for both lunch and dinner, while a spacious terrace for 70 people offers the most breathtaking panoramic views. The lower floor houses the SLVJ lounge, accommodating 190 guests, with a large outdoor terrace for 50 people. A notable feature in the decor is the group’s logo, a large, lifelike golden statue of a river horse, placed in one corner of the restaurant. Every aspect of the restaurant captivates with its luxurious rainforest-inspired decor, providing beautiful photo opportunities from every angle.

Under the leadership of Chef Fermin Azkue Salvaje, the restaurant offers a distinctive fusion of Japanese cuisine with unique flavors and cooking styles from around the world. Chef Azkue, a Venezuelan chef, worked in some of the most famous restaurants in the United States, Spain, France, and England, including Dinner by Heston Blumenthal in London, before heading Salvaje’s first branch in Panama in 2018.

Led by Salvaje’s beverage expert Borja Goikoetxea, the beverage team crafts cocktails that satisfy all tastes, with each drink showcasing artistic flair, from presentation to finishing touches.
